G2 is looking for a Marketing Director (m/f/d) to join our team. This is a full time position based in Berlin or remote (EU) who will directly report to our Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities:

Own G2's global Marketing strategy and execution across the organisation's portfolio of teams and IPs, ensuring consistent brand equity, steady audience growth, and measurable commercial outcomes

Collaborate with our executive team to further define the North Star of the G2 global brand and ensure its consistent application across all touchpoints

Build a clear marketing operating model and translate strategy into annual and quarterly roadmaps across teams and verticals.

Redefine and harmonize global brand initiatives with regional adaptations, ensuring maximized brand exposure and relevance across the broader esports, gaming, and entertainment industries

Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including publishers, organizers, other teams, brand & media partners

Provide strategic oversight of our creative direction, design, content production, brand and comms ensuring a shift from content output to IP creation (formats, shows, series amongst others

Oversee and align teams driving audience engagement across social, paid media, live events, community initiatives, creator programs, and CRM fan life cycles.

Direct marketing activations, partner collaborations, branded content, and product campaigns, ensuring initiatives drive commercial growth

Establish best-in-class Marketing analytics, forecasting and reporting allowing for data-informed decision making

Monitor industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities to further drive G2 growth
Requirements:

8+ years of experience in marketing, while professional experiences in traditional sports, esports or gaming is appreciated, but not mandatory

Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams across Brand, Content, Distribution and Commercial activation and experience in building scalable marketing operations

Experience in promoting B2C sales through effective marketing initiatives, driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention

Proven track record of developing and executing successful global and regional marketing strategies that drive brand growth and revenue on the long term

Demonstrated experience in managing global and diverse teams, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance

Experience managing a global brand, ensuring consistency and alignment across diverse markets and regions

Experience leading and fostering a dynamic, engaging and collaborative team and leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to bring the best out of people and teams
