At G2, storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. As a Videographer, you will capture the raw energy of competition, transform moments into emotion, and help shape the visual identity of one of the biggest esports brands in the world. You will work closely with producers, editors, content creators, and our esports teams to deliver high-quality video content across a wide range of formats - from fast-turnaround social pieces to large-scale productions and media days.

G2 Esports is now looking for a Videographer(m/f/d) to join our team. This is a full time opportunity based in Berlin who will directly report to our Production Lead.

 Responsibilities:

• Operate cameras and supporting equipment across studio, on-set, remote, and live production environment

• Execute framing, composition, stabilization, and movement that elevate storytelling and match G2’s visual standards

• Prepare, maintain, and organize all camera and production equipment before, during, and after shoots

• Design and execute natural and artificial lighting setups tailored to each production

• Collaborate with producers, directors, editors, and talent to ensure smooth on-set workflow

• Follow shot lists, adapt quickly to direction, and anticipate production needs during shoots

• Support shoots at events, tournaments, media days, and remote productions worldwide

• Use creativity in framing, shot selection, pacing, and camera movement to enhance narrative impact

• Contribute ideas during pre-production and help develop fresh visual approaches

• Ensure continuity, emotion, and visual consistency across all captured content

• Travel with our teams to events as a videographer and produce content on-site with our producers

• Be prepared to quickly assemble short-form edits on-site during events, ensuring fast turnaround for social-first conten

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a videographer (portfolio/showreel required)

• Strong understanding of cinematography, lenses, lighting, and camera systems

• Ability to work in fast-paced production environments with tight turnarounds

• Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially in on-set conditions

• Passion for creative storytelling and content excellence

• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Willingness to travel for shoots and esports events

• Ability to relocate to Berlin, Germany

Nice to have:

• Valid Driver’s License

• Experience working with an esports community, team, organization or similar

• Passion for esports and gaming

• Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, marketing, management or related field

• Written and spoken verbal communications in German
