G2 Esports is looking for a Junior Strategic Planner (m/f/d) to join our commercial team. This is a full time opportunity based in Berlin or remote who will directly report to our Strategic Planner. 

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Partnership Managers to create Strategic Positioning for each partner. The Junior Strategist will then support the Strategic Planner in presenting these to the partner, and arranging monthly / bi-monthly check-in meetings with the partner and partnership manager to ensure activations and content are aligned with the positioning
• Work directly with the digital and data teams to analyse the success of G2 and partner campaigns, and to ensure the desired messaging is being executed in-line with the strategic positioning 
• Collaborate & actively involve / coordinate with creative teams, product management and/or service departments to come up with the best ideas for our clients
• Work alongside the Strategic Planner to conduct Strategy Workshops for new or current partners and support on renewals and organically growing (upsells) G2’s current partner roster 
• Work directly with the marketing team to ensure all activations and campaigns are communicated clearly to the commercial team, and highlight opportunities for integration
• Support our commercial team in creating product sales decks or any other valuable B2B materials
• Research and share trends and insights from the esports and entertainment industry with the wider commercial team 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of proven experience in the field of strategy or marketing agencies, preferably within the esports, gaming, or entertainment industries
• Passion for esports and gaming, with a deep understanding of industry trends and competitive dynamics is a plus
• Your English skills are fluent and proficiency in any other language is a plus
• Experience in Photoshop is preferred
• Solution oriented and diligent mindset
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
