G2 Esports is looking for an Event Intern (m/f/d) to join our team. This is a six-month internship based in Berlin or remotely who will directly report to our Senior Brand Activation Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of G2 events, including tournaments, watch parties, and fan meetups
- Research and source suppliers for event-related needs such as venues, catering, equipment, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with our content team to integrate event activities with content creation
- Provide on-site support during events -- managing logistics and ensuring smooth operations
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, potential event activities, and interesting content creator collaborations
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and German is essential -- any additional other language is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a similar related field
- A genuine interest in the esports industry and familiarity with its trends and dynamics
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
