Since the launch of Apex Legends, we’ve been closely watching the development of its professional scene. We have been waiting for the right opportunity and set of individuals that uphold our values and share our drive for competitive success. We are delighted to say that we have concluded our search and are very proud to announce our new signings of Sebastian “Mimu” Vesala, Aaro “rette” Hälli and Niko “ZeroNothing” Suominen as our new Apex Legends Team!
With an already impressive set of results under their belt, including a first place finish in the APEX.PRO Europe League and a second place finish for both Mimu and ZeroNothing in the EXP Invitational, we know that they will bring G2 to the forefront of competitive Apex Legends.
All three of them are very excited to join G2, having this to say about joining:
Mimu:

We can’t wait to see how the team performs under the G2 banner and luckily, we won’t have to wait for long. You can catch them next week on the 13th of September in Krakow, Poland for the Apex Legends Preseason Invitational, which carries a $500 000 prize pool!
