We always strive to be the best and have not met the ambitious expectations for our Rainbow Six Siege roster that we had envisioned at the start of the year. G2 is always proactive in looking for solutions and new ways to make teams work both inside and outside the game, Therefore, we felt that a roster change was necessary. As a result, we are parting ways with Daniel ‘Goga’ Mazorra Romero.
We’d like to thank Goga for being a long-standing member of the G2 Rainbow Six Siege team as well as for all his hard work and contributions to the team’s success. As a member of G2, Goga has helped us lift two major trophies and lead us to numerous other top place finishes, leaving a legacy that will not be forgotten.
In his stead, we are excited to welcome Pascal ‘Cryn’ Alouane from Germany. The soon-to-be 26-year-old has a solid competitive record and a great reputation in the Rainbow Six community. A winner of the ESL German Championship, Six Lounge Series #5 and multiple other major tournament qualifiers, Cryn’s flexible style of play and intense workout regimen make him a force to be reckoned with both in-game and out. We’re beyond excited to see what he can bring to the G2 roster.
Cryn joins us before OGA PIT Season 3 Finals to help secure the win as well as the coveted invite to The 2020 Invitational in Montreal, Canada.
Cryn had this to say about joining G2,
“I’m very excited to join G2, a dream has finally come true! My main goal has always been to win a Major and I’ll work hard to qualify for the Invitational in 2020 and lift the trophy for G2!”
Kevin 'Sua' Stahnke, Coach and Analyst for G2’s Rainbow Six Siege team, is eager to help Cryn reveal himself and drive the G2 Esports roster to the next level.
"Cryn has a lot of unutilized potential, we are looking forward to give him the final shape he needs to become the best he can be"
Be sure to not miss Cryn’s debut on the new roster at the OGA PIT Season 3 Finals in Croatia! Remember to keep up with everything going on at G2 Esports on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitch.
