With a new year brings new opportunities! We’re excited to announce our newest partnership with Philips Monitors to bring Philips Momentum products to our players and content creators.
Our Rocket League squad has been put up in a brand-new 3,498 square-foot gaming house in Long Island, New York that will be entirely equipped with Philips Momentum monitors! By living and practicing together on monitors with low input lag, Ultraclear 4K UHD resolution, adaptive sync and a VESA certified display, they’ll be boosting their way to the top of the RLCS!
Our G2 Sim Racing team will also be shooting down the track and cutting their times using the Philips Momentum monitors!
The #G2ARMY knows how much we care about delivering an unforgettable performance and as a partner that shares this goal, Philips Monitors is a perfect match for us and our fans. Philips Momentum monitors are console gaming optimized, designed to bring truly immersive, full-on sensory experience thanks to their Ambiglow features while providing the perfect package of technical prowess to enhance the console gaming experience.
Stefan Sommer, Director of Marketing & Business Management at MMD for Philips Monitors comments:
“We’re proud to join forces with G2 in order to make console gaming even more exciting than ever and to help support the esports community. The G2 Rocket League team, in particular, have worked hard to get where they are now and we’re excited to see how far they go in 2020 with our support. By equipping the whole G2 teams’ training facilities with console optimised monitors this means we can really enhance their training, in particular the Rocket League team. This also gives us an opportunity to get to know what pro players want out of a monitor and incorporate these learnings into future products for console gaming”.
Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodriguez, G2 Esports CEO said:
"When gaming, whether we're competing online or playing single player titles, we want a smooth, remarkable experience,”. “Don't let them lie to you - pro players not only want their games to run smoothly but also look gorgeous. Philips Monitors are innovators and so are we. Welcome on board."
