A new team competing in Prime League: led by Tolkin
G2 is proud to announce a strategic partnership with NORD Esports to launch G2 NORD, a new League of Legends team set to compete in the Prime League, the official DACH EMEA Regional League (ERL). The team President is Tolkin, who will spearhead the project’s vision and act as a key bridge between competition, content, and community.
The core ambition of G2 NORD is clear: to build the strongest League of Legends team in Germany, establish itself as a top EMEA Masters contender, and develop high-potential players within G2’s established competitive framework. The team will operate as a high-performance academy environment, giving rising talent access to elite coaching, sports performance resources, and a clear path to pro.

Since entering the ERL ecosystem in 2023, NORD Esports has rapidly built a reputation as one of the most proactive and community-focused organizations in regional League of Legends. Competing in the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC), NORD has demonstrated strong operational expertise across roster construction, coaching, content, and live events.
Beyond competition, NORD has played a meaningful role in growing the ecosystem itself. The organization has collaborated with some of the scene’s most recognizable figures and has successfully organized large-scale community and competitive initiatives such as the NNO Cups and a pre-summer showcase event featuring LEC teams.
