G2 is looking for a Brand Partnership & Business Development Manager. This is a full time position based in our headquarters in Berlin who will report mainly to our Commercial Director and partly to our Head of Partnerships. The core responsibilities of this role are divided in two parts: partner management on key accounts and strategic business development, which details you can find below. Please note the role is not only limited to these two main fields of activities and will evolve over time.


Partner Management (reporting to Head of Partnerships):

  • Management of already existing strategic key accounts which involve product development, product creation and deeper projects, which leads to the growth and further monetization of the relationship through development programs
  • Lead on new potential strategic partners involving projects beyond content or sponsorship rights
  • Includes but is not limited to managing deliverables, execution of contract elements, proactive thinking, relationship building, gaining internal alignment on concepts, etc.


Business Development (reporting to Commercial Director):

  • Lead cross-functional efforts across internal teams (Creators, Data project, membership program, …) to evaluate business and market opportunities in order to build out foundation of new, existing or revamped verticals 
  • Participate in strategy development to establish new or revamped revenue streams
  • Model creation to understand return from project(s) or new vertical(s)
  • Act as a brainstorming partner for strategic tasks initiated by the Commercial Director and Executives members
  • Work collaboratively to create internal process to ensure G2 is setup to service new revenue concepts
  • Identify and analyse relevant KPIs and deduct concrete action plans to develop our company and revenue lines


  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent
  • Several years of practical experience in strategy & business development, optionally in a start-up environment
  • Stellar analytical skills and distinctive understanding of numbers
  • Strong personality to work in a fast-moving scale-up environment
  • Intrinsic motivation to actively drive impact in our business activities
  • Quick perception and structured working methods
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Esports market knowledge a must
